a day that started wrong,but ended alright..

day: Saturday 19/07/2008

plan: i) watch Journey to The Centre of The Earth (3D) at 10.40 a.m. with uncle and bro
ii) play bowling from 1 p.m to 2 p.m
iii) pick aunt from work at 3
iv) drop uncle at home and go have steamboat buffet dinner at 5 with aunt and bro.

what actually happened is:

uncle came to pick us up at 10. just nice for the movie.. v did not book the ticket so gotta go and buy at mid valley..reached mid valley and the queue was quiet bad, but luckily gsc opened a special counter for our desired movie..

so while uncle was standing in line, me and bro went to get the popcorn and hotdogs for breakfast.. same time ma..or so we thought..hint hint. ordered the popcorn and hotdogs,but we had to wait a while for the hotdogs, so meanwhile we went to check out how my uncle was doing at the ticketing counter.. without collecting both the popcorn and the hotdogs..and.. guess wat

10.40 show sold out..oh oh! so he got the one for 12.50 instead.. big oh oh! cuz the popcorn's are not gonna wait til then are they? so we went back to the sweet popcorn lady and told her about it, and she was very understanding and said that we can collect it later at out movie screening time..phew..lucky us..

but now we've got time to kill til 12.40.. so the best thing to do, is to play bowling right? went eagerly to the bowling alley, BUT was so disappointed to find out that the whole alley has been booked by aliens with orange skin.

okay, it wasn't aliens and it wasn't orange skin, it was some establishment staff wearing orange t- shirt. but it did feel that they had invaded the whole place..too much orange can be disastrous to the eye sight

so feeling dejected and thinking that we as humble human beings can only plan, but the decision to execute is in the hands of the Almighty.

in the end went to mph instead and finally managed to get hold of susan cooper's third and fourth book in the dark is rising series. its called greenwitch and the grey king respectively. had light lunch and went for the movie..

the special 3D glasses were so cool..and the movie was worth watching just for the that.. the ticket costed 19 each mind you..

and at the middle of the movie i received a sms saying that my aunt's friend is in hospital and she need to go and visit..and there goes our steamboat dinner i tot.. the day had already been bad need it get worse?

so after the movie, discussed with aunt, and we (me and my bro) decided that we will go first to the steamboat place and reserve place, and later on, she can join us..

the buffet was worth it, over 100 choices of fresh sea food, vege's stuffed tofu, and even dessert..

so in the end it was alright...
