The rudeness of strangers

Maybe that's why we did not manage to go there last week, and maybe this is the reason i dislike that place, maybe this is why it's out of our normal route back home.
If you feel like screaming stop speculating and just tell us the darn story, i am more than willing to comply. (because i dun have anymore maybe's, heck three was hard enough)

So the story is that my mom, sis and I went to this 'pasar malam' near Petaling Garden. The pasar malam is under quotation mark because this pasar malam demeans the word. Why? Because there is only 5 food items on sale! And 2 of it is the same 1!! For Malaysian standard, that is way below par. But that is not the reason i am actually taking time to write about this. The reason is the wretched Popia -youcancallmegod- seller(s). The rudest husband and wife combo i have ever seen. And trust me i have seen my fair share of rudeness, what with me being dark skinned and the majority of sellers- fair skinned.

So there was I humbly trying to order some popia for my dad. I remembered that they used to put chicken floss, and i hate chicken floss, so i asked them about it. The conversation is as below:

me: Two popia
seller: 'no response' after a while, how many?
me: two. and do you'll put chicken floss?
seller: yes.
me: i don't want chicken floss
seller: you want pork?
me: i don't want pork o chicken floss, i want the normal 1
seller: you don't tell normal, tell meat free, the normal is with pork.

What the f#$%. I know it doesn't sound so rude here, but with his tone and the look, it took some real muka tebal attitude to brace myself and stand there. And honestly since when does normal popia comes with pork? I've been eating popia since i was a kid. There was this guy who used to sell it at Old Town wet market, and his was the best. Ever. And his never had pork in it. Never. So don't BS with me and tell normal comes with oink oink. And the finale of the rude attack came when i got my meat free packet of popia. The total was RM 3.60. I was holding out RM 10.60. And she knocked at the tabletop and pointed for me to put the money there instead of receiving it with her palms, like how she was doing to all the other customers before me. Now, how rude was that?

I think they seriously need some coaching on manners. They may have a lot of customers, and losing me is not a biggie (yes, i am never buying from them ever again), but in the long run?
